Law & Order: SVU
January 20, 2010

Show sources tell RadarOnline that the rest of the SVU cast, including Mariska Hargitay, is losing patience. The insider says Mischa kept forgetting her lines and forced the crew to shoot just her scene all day long.
“She only had seven lines, seven!” said the source. “Each time she would mess up she would forget her lines and Mariska kept prompting her and saying ‘it’s your line Mischa’.”
Hargitay and the cast and crew on set were reportedly very annoyed by Mischa’s “unprofessionalism.” She must have known how frustrating it was, since she apparently kept saying, “Sorry,” each time she missed her lines.
You would think that Mischa would be trying to prove herself since this is her first job since the cancellation of The Beautiful Life! Professionalism goes a long way in this buiness!

Last month, Mariska said she’s hoped things would work out so Detective Olivia Benson and Detective Elliot Stabler could return to the show.
In related news, Stephanie March, who began playing A.D.A. Alexandra Cabot in 2000, but left briefly, is returning to the show. Stephanie will return during the fifth episode of Season 11. She will appear in ten episodes in total.
New to the show next season will be actress Christine Lahti, who will guest starr in the first four episodes as an assistant district attorney. No further details on her character were available at press time.
We’re just happy to hear Mariska and Christopher are officically back! That show wouldn’t be the same without them.

As Hollyscoop had previously reported, Mariska Hargitay and Hilary will be co-starring in the upcoming episode entitled Selfish.
The Disney star turned serious actress will play Ashlee Walker in the episode, a “rebellious, trashy, slutty, irresponsible young mother” who is the prime suspect in a case where her child has gone missing.
The episode airs Tuesday, April 28th 2009 at 10:00 PM on NBC. Will you be tuning in?

According to Entertainment Weekly, the threat is real, and is a result of the two actors wanting even more money than their current $350,000 an episode.
This comes one week after NBC renewed SVU for its 11th season. A network exec commented to EW saying, "I don't think in this environment, there's any chance they could re-launch the show with both of them gone. It's a horrible time to retool a show. They already have to change the time-slot, because it's not going to be airing at 10 pm next season."
An NBC insider added, "I can't imagine either actor walking away from over $7 million a year."
SVU would be a completely different show without its two main characters! Like we’ve said before, Mariska is half the reason people tune into the show in the first place. We hope this is just a rumor!

When she first signed a deal with NBC to develop a show for her, Hil was able to finagle several guest spots on other shows on the network.
It’s worked out perfectly, because she’s able to brush up on her acting chops while waiting for her own show to go into production. Hilary’s latest gig is on the long-running Law & Order: SVU.
An NBC rep blabbed to E! News that Hil will be appearing on an upcoming episode of the show. No word on what the role entails.
In other SVU news, Mariska Hargitay is back to work! She was photographed today on set looking healthier than ever, so let’s hope it stays that way!
According to People, Mariska and Hilary will be co-starring in the upcoming episode entitled Selfish, which will air on April 28th. Welcome back, Mariska!

"She's back at work," her rep confirmed to People magazine. A rep for the production company also confirmed that she was back on set this morning.
Mariska was nominated for a Golden Globe two weeks ago and a SAG award this past Sunday, but she was noticeably absent from both award shows.
She's well enough to be back at work, but not red carpet ready. Wishing you the best Mariska, the show wouldn't be the same without you!

She’s amazing at playing Detective Olivia Benson, but thinks being a full time mother to her son August is a bit more important. She tells Ladies Home Journal, “I just want to see my kid.”
And to give her even more reason to pack up and leave the show, Mariska says she and her husband Peter Hermann are trying for baby number two! Congrats to the happy couple!
