According to TMZ, father Fishburne is secretly footing his daughter’s legal bills.
He even went as far as hiring Shawn Chapman Holley for Montana, but not in connection with her sex tape or her prostitution bust in 2009. She’s representing the porn star-in-training for an ongoing assault with a deadly weapon case. Montana was arrested in February for breaking into the home of her boyfriend's ex, dragging the woman into the bathroom and violently assaulting her.
The next hearing in the battery case is set for Wednesday. Holley must just have a way with the f**k-ups of young Hollywood…she takes them all on as clients! As for Laurence, we think he needs to step up and cut that girl off!

Doesn’t she know the trick? Everyone knows your porn name is your first pet’s name, paired with the street you grew up on! But in her defense, Montana Fishburne is already pretty pornish-sounding, so maybe she figured she was all good!
According to TMZ, Montana reached out to her famous father on Monday for the first time since she unveiled her plan to enter the world of porn. She says Laurence wants nothing to do with her ... at least for now.
According to Montana, he told her, "You embarrassed me."
Laurence said, "You used your last name. No one uses their real name in porn."
"I'm not going to speak with you 'till you turn your life around," he added.
Well, sadly this is the society we live in these days! Montana told the press recently, "I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape.”
Interesting, considering the fact that Kim just came out and said she wished people would forget about that time in her life!
Just last week news broke that she was releasing her own sex tape to become famous like "Kim Kardashian." Her dad's friends even contacted Vivid Entertainment and offered $1 million to stop shipment, but Montana is upset because she wants "everyone to see her tape."
"This is something I want to do," she said. "I know they're doing it out of concern for me, but I want people to see it. I want people to buy my movie, so I am happy they didn't buy it all.
"I want my whole family to be proud of me in anything I do, in any career I choose, I want them to be proud of me, whether I was being a doctor," she added. "I know why it's 'taboo,' but I think everyone should be proud. I am proud of my body, I'm proud of what I've done, and I'm proud of the work I did."
Montana also said that she has yet to speak to her father because he won't return her calls, but her mother found out about the sex tape and she "loves me and is concerned and worried about me. She wants me to be OK and wants whatever is best for me."
This is the saddest story. She was also arrested last year for alleged prostitution. Talk about being the black sheep of the family.

Montana says she was determined to get into porn and really doesn't care who approves of it. "Being in an adult film is not a big deal to me," Montana Fishburne, 18, tells People. "It's something I always wanted to do. I have always been comfortable in my body and with my sexuality."
Most young girls will stumble into porn while trying to make it big, but not Montana. Her dreams involved porn. "I am not in porn to get into acting. I am in porn because I wanted to be in porn," she says bluntly.
She added that her A-list dad was completely in the dark about her new venture, and she hasn't spoken to him since the news broke.
"I had already filmed it by the time they knew so I didn't give them a chance to talk me out of it," says Montana, who moved out of her father's house last year upon turning 18, "so I could pursue what I want to do without being constrained by them."
"I hear through relatives that he's upset but I haven't talked to him directly for him to tell me his feelings," she admits, saying that when she did break the news, he reacted with stunned silence.
And here comes the best part..."I hope it's not hurting him. It wasn't done to hurt him," she says. "But I think it will take time and talking through the issues. Eventually, I hope he will be proud of me."
Proud of you?? You really expect your father to be proud of you for something like this? Go to college, get an education and a respectful job--that'll make him proud of you. We feel bad for her parents!
Montana is desperate to become a celebrity and unfortunately she's convinced the only way to do it is with hardcore porn. She's already signed an agreement with Vivid Entertainment, the same company that released Kim K's infamous sex tape.

It's so sad that young girls think making a sex tape is the only way to guarantee success in Hollywood. No word from Laurence's camp yet, but we can only imagine how disappointed he is in his daughter's decision. So sad!

CBS knows this will be a good deal with Fishburne, seeing as though his debut on CSI drew in the show’s best ratings since the show’s premiere. Fishburne says of the deal, "I have always wanted to continue to expand our production efforts at Cinema Gypsy into television, and Rose Catherine's extensive background and experience in TV is a natural fit with those plans.”
It’s funny how all these film actors are now getting into television. It probably helps that there’s a ton of it, and his film offers have probably slowed down a little. But we think deals like these are making television better again. Because although reality shows still rule all the networks, there are those few shows we can always now count on being great every week.
