For a couple million bucks, you can buy a celebrity—the house that was featured on The Hills. Drama not included!
Lauren Conrad has put her 3,009 square foot Spanish-style home on the market. It has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool, breakfast bar and detached guesthouse.
Among its famous dwellers include Audrina Patridge, who lived in the guesthouse during one season of The Hills.
The kitchen is a spacious, country-style design with doors that lead to the backyard. The rest of the house boasts gorgeous canyon views. Lauren is selling the pad for $2.25 million, but she bought it for $2.36, so she's taking a bit of a hit on it.
There have been a ton of changes in Lauren's life this year, starting with her split from longtime boyfriend Kyle Howard.
After dating for three years (yes, that's a long time in Hollywood), the reality star, 25, split from her 33 year-old boyfriend. The couple tried to keep their romance pretty private, but they'd been spotted out and about in Hollywood when they began dating in 2008. Then, in June, the couple called it quits.
But Conrad didn't stay single for long. Last month, she was spotted with Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes. The two were together at Trousdale in West Hollywood, where witnesses say Conrad had her arms and legs around the actor in the lounge. There's nothing like announcing your relationship with a guy by attaching yourself to him like a spider monkey.
"They have been good friends for a long time," a source tells People.
She might fare well in the dating game, but earlier this year, Conrad admitted to bodily insecurities. She told Allure magazine:
"I'm not a sexy person. I'm OK with it. I've never been the sexy girl. Whenever I've had a boyfriend, he's always been like: 'Oh, you're cute.'"
I think most people would disagree, but Conrad continues:
"You're the first person to notice any weight gain or loss, and then to have it pointed out can be embarrassing. You have two good angles and a hundred bad ones. I've seen photos of myself and cringed: 'Oh, God, I can never wear those pants again!''
Conrad might have taken a hit on the house, but she's been pretty successful in the liteary arena. Her books, L.A. Candy and Lauren Conrad Style, were best sellers. And she's had three teen novels picked up that are set to be released in 2012.
