HOLLYSCOOP EXCLUSIVE
Teen bullying has become a full-blown epidemic in this country. Believe it or not, some of your favorite stars have been bullied at one point or another. Hollyscoop talked with celebrities who shared their personal stories with us.

Alexander Gould may play a conniving young killer on Weeds, but in real life, he’s been a victim of bullying. “I've been bullied,” Gould confessed to us. “A couple times picked on when I was younger. It’s not a fun experience.”

Demi Lovato told us that she was forced out of her own classroom as a result of bullying. “I actually left school when I was 12 years old,” Lovato revealed. “I started homeschooling. It was too much for me dealing with the cattiness of the clickie girls and things like that.”

Lance Bass told us how shocked he was to learn about the recent six teen suicides. “I just hate that it went to the boiling point of people actually taking their own lives to talk about it,” Bass said. “I'm glad that everyone is taking a step in the right direction of making a positive and very maturely talking about bullying and the different types of bullying.

Musician Taio Cruz recalled his unfortunate school days when he was anything but popular. “I was more focused on music and I was always in the music room in choir,” said Cruz. “I would say I was more of the protector of the people who were weaker than myself and slightly bullied by those stronger than myself. It’s not fun for any kid.”

American Idol contestant Danny Gokey told us he was a nerd growing up. “I kind of am still,” Gokey joked. “I still get bullied--its weird. I did all the time. I remember one time I got jumped outside of my high school, I was 15 years old and I peed in my pants; I'm not lying, I was so scared.”

These stories just go to show that those being bullied are not alone! The stars also gave their words of advice to kids who are victims.

Alexander Gould: “If you are being bullied, talk to people about it. Tell people what is going on. To people doing the bullying: stop… it’s causing more problems than you realize.”

Demi Lovato: “The best advice I can have is using what you love as motivation to go farther in life. The girls that bullied me didn't do much and that is because they put all of their energy in negative things. When you put your energy in positive things, you succeed. Even if it doesn’t have to do with success, you just become a happier person and you’re stronger…that is all that matters.

Lance Bass: If you are getting bullied in high school or junior high, find one of your best friends and talk about it. Don't hide it inside, also know that this time passes like that. You wont even remember being bullied five years from now. You will never see those people again, you will realize how stupid they were and how insecure those people are.

Lance Bass wants on Glee! The former ‘N Sync singer has made his formal plea to show creator Ryan Murphy. “I love Glee,” Bass told MTV.

"Maybe they'll have a boy-band episode one day. Go for the gusto. Go for the 'Bye Bye Bye.'"

His former band mate, Joey Fatone has even been tweeting about it, trying to drum up some support. He recently told People, "I said, 'You know what? They should do an 'NSYNC one.' So I mentioned it on Twitter, and everyone is retweeting it and saying, 'That would be great!'"

The boy banders aren’t the only ones wanting the Glee treatment. Acclaimed director Baz Luhrmann said, "I'm a great fan of 'Glee.' I spoke to Ryan . I tried to find a moment to do an [episode] with him," he said. "I'd love to do that. I think those kids are phenomenal. If I could, I'd love to [direct an episode]. I'd like to contribute to that, because I do think that is what I hoped when I tried to smash the door 10 years ago [with 'Moulin Rogue']."

We can totally see a boy band Glee episode, especially after seeing what they did with Britney Spears. As for Baz, it may be awhile til Murphy is ready to give up his directors’ chair!

Many people are feeling angry over California Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Prop 8, which bans same sex marriage. Now several celebrities, some of who are openly gay, have stepped forward to express their discontent with the decision. Here are what some of them are saying.

Lance Bass: “The decision to uphold Prop 8 is deeply disappointing. I can only hope to one day live in a country that grants equal rights, opportunity, and freedom to all citizens.”

Ellen Degeneres: “I’m sure you heard the Prop 8 news. One day when everyone is treated with full equality, we’ll look back and realize how wrong this was.”

Melissa Etheridge: “So, will anyone be sleeping better tonight? Those full of hate and fear will surely be disappointed that 18,000 same sex couples will be living in wedded bliss, kissing their spouses goodnight, checking off those little ‘married’ boxes on all those forms we fill out nowadays. That’s really going to drive them crazy.”

Kathy Griffin: “My 89 year old mother has asked me to get her a wheelchair to take her to a protest tonight, even though she isn’t in the greatest of health. She is neither gay, nor the parent of a gay person, but she is as passionate about this decision as I am. I am so proud to march with her. Shame on the CA Supreme Court for this decision that history will not look back on fondly.”

Kim Kardashian: "This really makes me sad. I thought we were more forward thinking than this, and I'm disappointed in the Supreme Court for being so close-minded. Everyone...gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered -- EVERYONE should have equal rights to marry who they want to."

Holly Montag: "BOO CALI! Our Bill of Rights and Constitution intended equal rights for ALL regardless of race, gender, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, age or creed!"

Eliza Dushku: "Shame on California Supreme Court!"

Dozens of rallies are being planned for today for people who are against the decision. What is your reaction?

The 2008 may be over, but chances are some of your favorite celebrities still haven't made it home from their wild New Years Eve parties. Stars flocked to Sin City Las Vegas and Miami to ring in the New Year with their privileged entourages and family members. Here's a breakdown of who rocked what club in what city.

Carmen Electra served as the mistress of ceremonies of the New Year’s celebrations at TAO Las Vegas. Fiancé Rob Patterson was by her side the whole night and let her shine in the spotlight as she conducted the countdown in the DJ booth.

Brody Jenner was also celebrating at TAO with girlfriend Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole and mom Linda Thompson. After some major PDA with his girlfriend, Brody made his way to the DJ booth with his mom and rocked out to the sounds of DJ Vice and hyped up the packed house of club goers.

New mom Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz played host at Pure nightclub. Ashlee and Pete were full of excitement for it was their first night on the town since the birth of baby Bronx. After sharing a few passionate New Year’s kisses and feeding pieces of cake to each other, the couple retreated back inside to their VIP table where they drank Grey Goose cocktails and danced the night away.

The couple everyone loves to hate, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt attended to their hosting duties over at Christian Audigier The Nightclub. While sipping on Dom Perignon Champagne, the duo happily posed for photos with fans. It pays to be a reality star!

One of the biggest Sin City New Year's Eve bashes was inside LAX Nightclub at Luxor where Kim Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe were joined by a slew of celebrity friends and family to ring in 2009 in true Las Vegas style.

The reality show sisters were joined by Kim’s boyfriend Reggie Bush, brother Robert Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, step father Bruce Jenner, Brittny Gastineau and “Girls Gone Wild” creator Joe Francis, among others.

Prive Las Vegas kicked off another year with a celebrity bash hosted by Denise Richards and Lance Bass. The "It's Complicated" star arrived at the nightclub with her father Irv right before midnight and was reportedly nervous about getting up and doing the countdown in front of thousands of Prive's New Year's Eve guests but co-host Lance Bass helped to ease her concerns.

At Midnight, Bass and Richards headed to the DJ booth to welcome in 2009 to roaring sirens and a large confetti drop. Following the countdown, the two danced at Richards' VIP table where the Prive cocktail waitresses brought out a Magnum of Dom Perignon to celebrate. How do we become apart of that entourage?

Heading East, Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum hosted the annual New Year's Eve bash in Miami at Shore Club's Skybar. This year Gerard Butler helped countdown to the New Year along with guests including Jared Leto, Kristin Cavallari and 90210's Annalynne McCord and former 90210 star Ian Ziering.

Hope your News Years was safe and fun, wishing you guys all the best in the upcoming year. How did you ring in your New Years?

Would it surprise you to know that Lance Bass was once considered to be the worst dancer among his 'N Sync bandmates? Judging by his performance on this season’s Dancing with the Stars, we'd venture to say that it looks like he's been doing his homework in that department.

At the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals For Children Open in Las Vegas yesterday, former bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick told People magazine, “We used to joke with Lance because he was the worst dancer in the group, but he’s amazing on the show. He’s got such poise and he’s really confident in his dancing. He’s really good, surprisingly good.”

Chris even went on to say that he thinks Lance has a really solid chance of taking home the final prize. With Cloris Leachman blowing the judges away week after week, it'll be a fight to the end.
The trend may be gone, but Lance Bass is still determined to jump on the adoption bandwagon. Now that gay marriages are legal in California, Lance says he's eager to adopt and have his own kids.

He says, "I think everyone dreams of that nice romantic wedding. And I love kids. I want to adopt and I want to have my own."

We're all for adoption, so if he's passionate about being a father, more power to him!
Former N'Syncer Lance Bass is considering launching a gay dance show to compete with 'Dancing With the Stars.' His version of the show will feature only gay couples. How great is that?

He tells E! Online, "I think it would be so silly that it would just overshadow everything else going on. It would just be like making fun of something. But if it was another show with all guys dancing and all girls dancing, that's a different story. I think that's sexy. I should pitch that."

We're all for it Lance, you would already have an audience in Hollyscoop. Let's gets Ellen on board and it'll be a guaranteed hit.
