Lance Armstrong To Buy The Tour De France?

Lance Armstrong is re-entering the cycling world with a vengeance! Not only has he announced that he'll be participating in the 2009 race, rumors are swirling that he is in talks to buy the company that owns the Tour De France.

There are two different stories going around: one that he'll be teaming up with former international cycling federation head Hein Verbruggen for the purchase, and the other says he'll be partnering with his sponsor Nike for the purchase.

In other Lance news, he's confirmed he'll join the Astana team for his comeback for January's Tour Down Under in Australia.
