Lance Armstrong Hospitalized after Bike Crash

Lance Armstrong has been hospitalized after crashing his bike during the first stage of a five-day race in Spain.

He has reportedly injured his collarbone in the crash, but has no other suspected injuries.

Lance was riding with the Astana team in the Vuelta of Castilla and Leon race when he fell in a pile-up about 12.5 miles from the stage's finish on Monday. Lance was taken to the Rio Carrion hospital in Palencia.

He may be re-thinking that retirement plan! As you may recall, Lance decided to come out of retirement this year after three years. Maybe it’s time to throw in the towel again! We wish Lance a full recovery.

And surprisingly, this is the only celebrity bike accident to report today. Today Show host Matt Lauer took a spill on his bike over the weekend, leaving him just slightly injured.

Meredith Viera told viewers this morning that Matt collided with a deer and flipped over the handlebars. She joked, "I hired the deer, but I said, 'Just graze him.'"

Matt is resting and is expected to come back to work soon.
