When it comes to the images paparazzi are allowed to release, Page Six reports that Lady Gaga and her team have final say over what’s published.
According to photographers, Gaga herself authorizes what photos get the green light for print, which was the case with her series of performances at the Roseland Ballroom, a grand send-off for the famed venue.
Does that mean this paparazzi photo was Photoshopped?
One unnamed insider said they’re asked to “smooth out her jawline and thin her arm…smooth out and thin her legs.”
Do these legs look thinned to you?
Or these arms?
What about this jawline?
“It’s like with any other artist I work with, and it’s very minimal because we want to get the photos out there right away,” Kevin Mazur of WireImage/Getty said.
YAAAAAAS, GAGA, U LOOK SO GEWD. (Or is it Photoshop good?)
It’s gotten to the point where photographers are “complaining she’s a control freak,” an event organizer told the paper.
It’s hard to tell, though, given the singer’s flashy outfits.
“She caters to the paparazzi like no other artist I’ve ever seen,” Kevin raved of her work ethic. “Lady Gaga goes above and beyond putting on new outfits to make sure the paps have something every day.”
But given what you know now, you’re probably looking at a few photos differently.
Lady Gaga looks GREAT here, but remember she authorized this.
Removing a drop of sweat or a wild strand of hair are just a few tricks of the trade.
Kevin, who had the exclusive to shoot her shows at Roseland, admitted to even touching up a shiny forehead, for instance.
But, do you really need Photoshop when you’re dressed like this?
