The Internet erupted in controversy when Lady Gaga was captured on stage looking a little curvier than usual. But, according to her personal trainer, the Mama Monster is back on track with her skinny image.
Hollyscoop spoke with fitness extraordinaire Harley Pasternak who writes the chubby photos off as a “bad day” for Gaga where cameras were just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
“She was bloated and they took a bad picture of her,” says Pasternak. “Have you seen her lately? She looks phenomenal. She had a bad day.”
Today, the trainer promises, Gaga is “not bloated” and is just as primed and prepped as ever for her adrenaline-fueled on stage antics. That means tight “femine curves” and a “little waist.’
“She is really active on stage,” he says, “She is active throughout the day. We use resistance training for her as a way to sculpt and tone her body.”
But it isn’t all about staying is constant motion. Pasternak also credits Gaga’s un-bloated figure to cutting down on the take out and sticking to what she likes best in the kitchen…
“She loves her blender and her smoothies. She loves soups. Pureed soups,” he says. “She is an incredible chef! She has given me recipes that I have used. She makes incredible Italian food, incredible Japanese food... She is big into stir-fries. She likes using different grains from different cultures.”
Gaga previously demonstrated her culinary technique during an appearance on an episode of “Alan Carr: Chatty Man.” If not informative, it was, well…interesting.
If you want to get into Gaga shape, you can bring Pasternak’s personal touch to the comfort of your own gaming device. “Harley Pasternak’s Hollywood Workout” video game, available on Wii and Xbox Kinect, is on shelves now.
