Lady Gaga To Star Alongside Charlie Sheen In 'Machete Kills'

First Lindsay Lohan, now Lady Gaga… Let me begin by simply saying Robert Rodriguez is a freakin’ genius!

Shortly after we learned that the Planet Terror director had cast Charlie Sheen as The President of the United States in his sequel to Machete, Machete Kills, today we are pleased to announce another A-lister to star in the new grindhouse epic… Lady “friggin’” Gaga.

The “Born This Way” superstar is plastered on a poster for the bloody sequel. “Lady Gaga as La Chameleon” it reads.

On the poster, Gaga looks all sorts of badass and – yeah I’ll say it – sexy. She half squats in a very Marilyn Monroe pose, holding a smoking pistol fitted with a silencer. Wrapping around her body is a massive shawl made out of an entire wolf’s body. The head of the beast lingers just above her pelvis.

Gaga wears her golden locks in 1950’s curls, a vintage-chic necklace, some yellow lingerie and thigh-high stockings. (Me-yooow!)

The director confirmed the news of having Gaga in the film with a tweet that was posted from his account late Thursday.

“I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!” he said.

Along with the message, he published the epic poster. Cha-Ching!

Then came Gaga’s confirmation shortly after…

“Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress In the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!!” she said, “AH! Filming was insane.”

Though it’s the first time that Gaga’s face will appear in a feature film, she has done voice work before. Earlier this year, she made her animated debut in an episode of “The Simpsons” dedicated entirely to her.

Sheen was announced to be onboard with the project late last month. Other big names slated to appear in the little movie include Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Vanessa Hudgens, and - the star of the film – Danny Trejo.

Machete Kills is scheduled for a 2013 release.
