Lady Gaga: I Still Do Cocaine

Lady Gaga has mentioned her drug use in the past, but she may be telling a little too much in her latest interview with Vanity Fair.

In the article she admits to not only using cocaine in the past, but in the present as well! "I won't lie; it's occasional," she tells the magazine. "And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year."

Gaga admits to having had a couple bad experiences with drugs in the past, and says she’s “terrified of heroin,” but doesn’t say whether she actually tried it or not.

Despite her bad trips or whatever happened, Gaga insists she’s not addicted to anything, and her fans shouldn’t worry. She insists, "I do not want my fans to ever emulate that or be that way. I don't want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great. It's in the past. It was a low point, and it led to disaster."

And we’re talking Lindsay Lohan style with this story: Gaga explains one incident to the mag, saying, "I hit rock bottom, and it was enough to send a person over the edge. My mother knew the truth about that day, and she screamed so loud on the other end of the phone, I'll never forget it. And she said, 'I'm coming to get you.'"

"I was completely mental and had just been through so much,” she adds.

But rather than rehab, Gaga headed off to her grandmother’s home in West Virginia, which sounds equally as miserable! Gaga reveals, "I told her I thought my life was over and I have no hope and I've worked so hard, and I knew I was good. What would I do now? And she said, 'I'm gonna let you cry for a few more hours. And then after those few hours are up, you're gonna stop crying, you're gonna pick yourself up, you're gonna go back to New York, and you're gonna kick some a--.'"

Seems like the pep talk from Grandma worked, because Gaga has been kicking ass ever since! She says her fans are the ones that keep her going these days. "My real fans know who I truly am, and they know what I represent and what I mean, and my music and my performance is what really speaks."

We love Gaga and everything, but maybe she needs to cool it with all the drugs talk! It’s like a high school girl telling everyone she’s drunk at prom! Enough already!
