Lady Gaga Denied Permit For Jakarta Performance
Lady Gaga is ruffling feathers again.

The “Born This Way” singer has been denied a permit to perform in the Indonesian city of Jakarta. The predominantly Muslim nation apparently thinks she’s a bit risqué.

Shocking!

According to E! news, Lady Gaga has been banned from the nation after an outpouring of criticism from Islamic activists who frankly find her disgusting. A spokesperson for the Indonesian national police confirmed that she would not be allowed to perform for her scheduled show on June 3.

Reportedly, law officials requested the permit be denied not because they didn’t want to get their “Bad Romance” on, but because they were afraid they wouldn’t be able contain protesters.

It turns out Gaga is seen as a public safety hazard in non-westernized countries. Who’d of guessed!

The news comes after Gaga posted a picture of herself from the Born This Way Tour in Tokyo on Twitter in yet another meat suit. This one at least seems a little less messy.

In the image, Gaga hangs alongside slabs of meat swinging from hooks.

Gaga kicked off her Asian tour in late April. The 52,000-seat Gelora Bung Karno stadium of Jakarta was set to the biggest stop on the leg yet.

No word yet from Lady Gaga's rep.
