Poor Lady Gaga, she's been working herself to the bone and it finally caught up with her health. Gaga was forced to postpone her West Lafayette, Indiana, concert on Thursday night just moments before she was scheduled to take the stage after suffering from breathing problems.
Paramedics had to treat her on the scene and told her she was suffering from exhaustion and dehydration. She burst into tears not because her health was in jeopardy, but because she didn't want to disappoint her fans.
Gaga wrote on twitter: “I’ve been crying for hours, I feel like I let my fans down 2nite. An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing.(sic)
“Paramedics came to take care of me, and told me my heart-rate was irregular – a result of exhaustion and dehydration.
“can’t apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go on stage. My stage has complicated mechanical elements, everyone was concerned I’d be in danger during the 2hr show, since I had passed out earlier. (sic)
She continued, “I am so devastated. I have performed with the flu, a cold, strep throat: I would never cancel a show just based on discomfort.”
Good news is Gaga is feeling a little better and the show will be rescheduled for January 26th after she gets a little R&R.
She added: “I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything.”
She's one of the hardest working stars in showbiz right now, and if anyone needs a little break--it's Lady Gaga! Hope you feel better Gaga, we miss you already!
