Lady Gaga Battles With Depression

She says her lowest point of this year happened while she was on tour. She says, "Loneliness, being on the road. I have a chronic sadness that recurs. The lowest point was in Australia in May. I was overwhelmingly sad, and I didn't know why, because I had all these things to be happy about.”
Gaga also says being famous is tough because it keeps her away from her parents for long periods of time. But she also explains that her dark feelings translate into music, and actually make it better.
She says, "I went to the studio and played for hours, and I wrote what is going to be the greatest record of my career, a beautiful song about my father. I remember watching the mascara tears flood the ivories and I thought, 'It's OK to be sad.' I've been trained to love my darkness."
At least Gaga has found a way to channel her sadness to create music. We hate to see her depressed though! There’s too much talent there. But if anyone needs a vacation for a week to do nothing, it’s her!
