Are you one of Lady Gaga's 7 million + followers on twitter? Sorry to disappoint but you won't be getting any tweets from the Queen of Twitter anymore.
Gaga, Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake are just a few of the celebs giving up twitter for a good cause.
They're signing off from all social media platforms, and will not return until an AIDS charity - Keep a Child Alive, which is spearheaded by Alicia – has raised $1 million.
For the campaign, the stars have filmed “last tweet and testament” videos and will appear in adverts showing them lying in coffins to represent their ‘digital deaths’.
Who else is joining them? Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Elijah Wood and Serena Williams are all featured in the campaign, which will start on Wednesday, which is World AIDS Day.
Alicia Keys said no one she has approached had turned her down, explaining: "Once I got people on the phone and I was able to paint the concept for them, everybody was in."
A world with no celeb tweets? Bet Twitter isn't too thrilled about this. Since the company is worth a zillion dollars, they should just front the million themselves!
