Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! 5 Celebs Who Look Like Dr. Seuss Characters

Theodor Seuss Geisel was born March 2, 1904, and the writer did his work under the pen names ‘Theo LeSieg’, ‘Rosetta Stone’ and most famously, Dr. Seuss.

He published articles and illustrations to Life, Vanity Fair and The Saturday Evening Post. But anyway, what is this, Wikepedia? Here are five celebrities who look like characters from Dr. Seuss' books.

GagaThing 1 & Lady Gaga: In this shoot for The Sydney Morning Herald, Lady Gaga looks like either Thing 1 or Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss’ ‘The Cat in the Hat. Gaga, your Suess-inspired hair is oh, so neat! And much more attractive than your dress of meat.

Yertle the Turtle & Tracy Morgan: The folks at MSN’s Wonderwall say: “Much like Tracy Morgan's character on "30 Rock," Yertle is the loudmouthed king of the pond who likes to order around his minions and usually gets what he wants.” We gotta say, the resemblance is uncanny.

The Lorax & Jamie Hyneman: It’s all in the ‘stache. Take off that beret, and MythBusters host Jamie Hyneman bears an strong resemblance to ‘The Lorax.’

Sally & Amy Poehler : Sally from 'The Cat in the Hat' looks like a funny lady Amy Poehler. Both are adorable, but Sally is a bit more OCD.

Joan Rivers & The Cat in the Hat: It’s not an insult! Have you seen Mike Myers’ ‘The Cat in the Hat?’ His face is so tight you could bounce quarters off of it! Nice skin, too, especially for a cat. And I would die for the Cat in the Hat’s eyelashes.
