From Gaga to Aniston: Celebrity Alternate Career Choices
Does this situation seem familiar to you? You're watching a talk show host interview some hot celebrity IT-girl type and midway through the conversation the show's host goes, "So, if you weren't acting, what do you think you'd be doing now?" and then the celebrity IT-girl type says, "I always thought that if I wasn't doing movies I always wanted to be a dolphin trainer." And then you smash your TV.

These are the alternate careers that celebs claim they would be doing if they weren't famous:

Justin Bieber: Bieber admitted in an interview with the Associated Press that if he wasn't a performer he'd "probably work at McDonalds's or something." I would love to live in a world where Justin Bieber was serving me McDoubles with small fries and a McFlury instead of bopping around the TV like some kind of gangster chipmunk. Reach for the stars Bieber, because if you fall, you'll land in a McDonalds.

Ryan Reynolds: When asked by an Australian tabloid magazine what he'd been doing if he wasn't an actor, Ryan Reynolds said he's probably be a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He said because he's from Canada and that's what his dad did, "I would probably have been one too, if it wasn't for this job." I really like the image of Ryan Reynolds on a horse and mispronouncing words like "about" as "aboot." That's hot.

Tom Cruise: When Tom Cruise was younger he was attending seminary school to become a priest. He ultimately realized that wasn't the life for him, so he joined his schools drama department and never looked back. "Can't have sex what!? Aww screw that, I'm auditioning for Hamlet."

Britney Spears: Spears recently said in an interview with Pop Justice that if she wasn't famous she'd "Probably be a teacher. I love kids, and even in what I do now one of my favorite parts of the day is getting to meet my fans before the show," says Spears. Hide yo kids. Hide yo students. Britney spears could potentially be teaching the youth of America.

Jennifer Aniston: Jennifer said that if she wasn't acting that she'd be a, wait for it...party planner. That was kind of a let down, I was hoping she'd say racecar driver, because why not? "You know what, I would be a party planner!" says Aniston. There’s a huge difference between going to parties and liking parties, to actually being a party planner. Whatever.

Matthew McConaughey: Matthew said while he was in college he was taking classes to become a criminal defense lawyer. He reveals this in an interview for the movie "The Lincoln Lawyer," where he does in fact play a lawyer. "Luckily, I changed my career path. I prefer this now." He also forgot to mention that if he wasn't an actor or a lawyer he would just be professionally shirtless.

Lady Gaga: When asked what Gaga would be if she weren't famous, she said she'd be dead. Serious. The most self-entitled human being said, "I've always been famous, it is just that nobody knew." Ok Gaga, we all know that if you weren't the most famous popstar you are today, you would totally be a barista somewhere in NY performing at open mic nights and trying to crash fashion shows. Gaga says of her fame, "I would die if someone took it all away." Uggghhh I'm trying so hard to vomit and it's not working.

Steve Buscemi: The "Boardwalk Empire" star said that if he wasn't an actor, he'd be a firefighter. "I'd probably still be on the fire department. I would have 30 years on, so I no doubt would have continued doing that." He even returned to his old unit during the 9/11 attacks to help his old firefighters. Awww good man that Steve Buscemi.
