Adam Lambert, Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga to Appear on Oprah

Last year’s American Idol runner-up is heading over to the queen of talk shows herself, Oprah Winfrey! It’s hard for us to even think of Adam Lambert as a former Idol contestant, since he’s gone on to do so much for himself in less than a year.

The controversial singer twittered the news yesterday, writing, "Oprah: def true.” Winfrey’s rep confirmed it with People, saying that the segment had already been taped, and will air on January 19th.

Sources say Adam talks about Simon Cowell's departure from Idol and its possible ramifications for the show, what life is like for him both pre-Idol and after, and his controversial performance at the American Music Awards.

Lambert performs "Whataya Want from Me" from his new album For Your Entertainment. Also on the show that day is breakout star Susan Boyle. Susan first appeared on Oprah last year via satellite, but this is her first live appearance. Susan reportedly hired a vocal coach to get her ready for her performance on the episode.

And last but not least Lady Gaga will also make an appearance on Oprah on the same day. This will be Lady Gaga's first appearance on the daytime talk show this Friday.

Tune in January 19th! Talk about a great episode of Oprah!
