In the midst of the Jackson family drama, La Toya Jackson thought it would be a smart idea to put her life on blast even though she recently said she wished her family would stop airing their dirty laundry in the public eye. Go figure. Great decision making, La Toya, real great job.
Anyway, “Life With La Toya” has been ordered to series and will premiere in 2013 on Oprah Winfrey’s network OWN.
Oh, it’s going to be on OWN? Interesting...
The show will follow La Toya as she deals with her famous family, spends time with friends and juggles work in the entertainment industry. Essentially, this is just La Toya’s latest gig in her desperate attempt to stay relevant.
Just to put La Toya into perspective, she has appeared on nearly ever C-list “celeb” reality show from “Celebrity Apprentice” to “Armed and Famous” and “Celebrity Big Brother.”
La Toya had this to say about her new show:
“I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family. This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life.”
It’s unsure if the guardianship drama that's been unfolding in the last two weeks will be documented for the series.
Earlier today, a court came to a decision on the custody issue surrounding Paris, Prince and Blanket.
Katherine Jackson has been reinstated as the kids' guardian, with Tito’s son T.J. named as their co-guardian on a temporary basis.
