Kung Fu Panda was such a hit that DreamWorks has decided to do a sequel.
They confirmed today that it's already in the works and they're hoping for a release date in 2011. The film will reunite Jack Black and Angelina Jolie, and the movie will be released in 3-D, which is the new standard for all DreamWorks animation movies.
The original Kung Fu Panda grossed more than $626 worldwide, so news of the sequel isn't that surprising. In the mean time, if you missed the original in theaters, it comes out on DVD on November 9th.
