Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler Engagement Back On

Second time's a charm, I guess.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler called off their engagement at the last minute back in July. Then they started dating again. And now, they're engaged again.

At least the wedding planning will be easy. But the people who got them gifts, then returned them, and now have to buy them again, are going to be pissed.

Just before noon on Wednesday, Cavallari Tweeted: "This time its official…Jay and I are engaged again :)."

Just last week, Cavallari denied reports that they had gotten re-engaged. Life & Style originally reported on Engagement: Part 2.

"Kristin is over the moon with happiness," Life & Style quoted a source as saying. "She's already told her friends that the engagement is back on. They haven’t set a new date yet."

But Kristin denied the reports on Twitter, writing: "New week new rumor. I'm not engaged u guys."

You…lied to us. How could you, Kristin? Don't you realize we're privy to every detail of your private life? I'm offended.

The two got engaged in April after dating for only seven months. When Cutler left her, Kristin was reportedly "absolutely devastated" and "in shock." It's been a bumpy year for their relationship.

Cavallari was in the Dancing With the Stars lineup this season, and rumors of the couple's reconciliation sparked when Cutler was spotted cheering her on in the audience. At the time, she said of her boyfriend's appearance: "I have nothing to do with that. I don't direct where the camera goes."

When asked to dish about his dancing partner's rekindled romance, Mark Ballas told Us Weekly, "We're not going to talk about it."

Cavallari did an impressive job keeping things quiet for a while. Well, the jig is up now. And the two went totally public with their relationship in the past few weeks.

Cutler tweeted on Nov. 11: "Dinner date night with @KristinCav. She loves her creamed spinach."

The couple reportedly dined at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab in the River North neighborhood before heading to Public House for post-dinner drinks. They were spotted sipping on Grey Goose and soda. Hopefully not too many. I don’t want to imagine a creamed spinach hangover.

Before the Bears’ Nov. 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Cavallari supported her man by Tweeting: "To the man with the best butt in football, good luck tonight @jaycutler6 I’ll be watching.”
