Report: Kristen Stewart Banned From \'Cosmopolis\' Premiere
Kristen Stewart, an official threat to security… and PR?

K-Stew has apparently been banned from attending the New York City premiere of Robert Pattinson’s new movie, Cosmopolis.

And by banned, we mean, like there was an actual brief that went out to the security team for the event.

RadarOnline is reporting that the people in charge of the movie are seriously not interested in bringing that kind of spectacle onto their carpet.

Robert Pattinson Will Attend Cosmopolis Premiere

Though it is being reported that Rob and Kristen have chatted on the phone, some people are worried that she will try to use the August 13 opening as an excuse to try to communicate with him via face time.

“Security was briefed and they were told that Kristen is not allowed anywhere near the red carpet or the after party,” a source said.

“The decision was made because Robert just doesn’t want to see her. There were fears that she could use it as a chance to talk to him in person and that sort of drama is not wanted at the premiere.”

It has been reported that Rob is very proud of this new film and is looking forward to supporting it. But this being his first solo debut in years, and in light of recent events -- involving his girl plus director Rupert Sanders' lips -- extra care is being taken with his feelings.

Will Ferrell: Kristen Stewart is a "Trampire" For Cheating On Robert Pattinson

We've reached out to the studio promoting the film to confirm if the banishment is indeed in effect.

But seriously, doesn’t it seem like making a banishment publicly known actually serves to create the kind of PR they are claiming to be trying so hard to avoid?

Do they really think she, as the most hated “trampire” in Hollywood, would be so desperate to show up at one of his events unannounced just to try to chat him up?

Well, actually… now that we’re thinking about it…
