Public Pissed at Kristen Stewart Crying Rape
The word “rape” isn’t one that should be thrown around. Yet Kristen Stewart recently likened her life as a celebrity to the awful act of forced sexual activity. Yep, you heard it right—her life as a spoiled, rich celebrity is just like getting raped for Kristen.

Because of her statement, Stewart has managed to not only draw more attention to herself, but also offend and anger organizations dedicated to lending support to rape victims.

Kristen Stewart Hates Being a Celebrity

Katherine Hull, a spokesperson on behalf of Rape and Incest National Network (R.A.I.N.N.) told FOXNews.com, “Stewart's comments are regrettable. Portraying a rape survivor in the film ‘Speak’ should have led her to use a more appropriate metaphor to describe the intrusive nature of the paparazzi. Rape is more than an intrusion, it's a violent crime, that causes serious long term mental health effects for victims.”

Margaret Lazarus, the executive director of RapeIs.org, also asked that Kristen reevaluate her choice in words the next time she talks publicly.

Neil Irwin, Executive Director of the Men Can Stop Rape Organization, added, “Kristen Stewart equating her experience of the paparazzi with rape is like comparing a needle to a knife... Out of respect for these survivors, we would suggest using a more appropriate word, like ‘violation.’”

We couldn’t have put it better! Kristen has always rubbed us the wrong way, and she just comes across as bitter, self-centered, and ignorant. If Hollywood is so hard, then go get a 9 to 5 and shut up.
