And now we check in with the latest family torn apart by Hollywood…
Two days after Kristen Stewart took a sledgehammer to the marriage of Snow White and the Huntsmen director Rubert Sanders and his wife Liberty Ross, it’s time to start picking up the pieces. But only time will tell if this marriage will be able to put it all back together and recover.
In the meantime, Us Weekly – the initial publisher of Kristen and Rupert’s affair photos – is checking in with how Liberty is coping. A source told the magazine that it hasn’t exactly been easy… Go figure.
“It's really shocking," the source said. "She has been with Rupert since she was 18 -- they got together when she graduated. He's the only love she's known."
The couple has two children together, a five-year-old and a seven-year-old. On top of the long-standing relationship, that’s a lot of baggage to sink with one flush.
“They have a really strong family life and Rupert is always so wonderful to her and the kids,” the source said. “It's really shocking."
They moved to the States from the UK for Rupert to pursue his directing career. Lucky for the British-native, Ross – a model and actress - does have relatives in Los Angeles to help get through heartbreak.
“Liberty has family and siblings in Los Angeles, so she has a really good support system," the source told Us.
In a previous interview with YOU magazine, Ross said that she was having trouble adjusting to America, even before the affair went down.
“Moving here and starting a life all over again was a lot harder than I had anticipated,” she told YOU. “I just didn't think it would be as isolating and daunting as it turned out to be."
Both Rubert and Kristen have ballsed-up and issued public apologies for their behavior and the pain that they caused everyone around them. Since then, we have yet to hear directly from either Ross, or Kristen’s partner Rob Pattinson.
I was reported yesterday that Rob Pattinson moved out of their Los Feliz home, leaving Kristen alone in the now $6 million dog house.
