Kristen Stewart Wanted to Replace Angelina Jolie

We would never group Kristen Stewart and Angelina Jolie in the same class. They two are both great actresses in their own right, but Angie is in a league of her own!

But one director in particular seems to believe Kristen has what it takes to fill Jolie’s shoes. Timur Bekmambetov, the director of Wanted, wants Stewart to take over as female lead in the sequel.

According to E!, Angie was originally supposed to be attached to the second installment. Bekmambetov said at the time, "We know how to do this, but it's still tough to do, because there is a bullet inside her head. But there has to be a reason for her to come back - and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back."

Jolie has since pulled out due to scheduling conflicts. The only thing Kristen has in the pipeline is Breaking Dawn which shoots next fall. We think this would be a huge role for her!
