And Twi-hards enjoyed watching them. Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson have a much anticipated, steamy, vampire-y sex scene in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. And Stewart admitted she enjoyed shooting the "close-up" lovemaking scenes in the movie.
At the UK premiere of the flick, Stewart said:
"It was an interesting experience. It was different to what we ever had before. Because usually we can just refer to the book, we've got pages. But it was good - everyone thinks love scenes are always going to be really awkward and stuff - but you know appropriately so. Lots of close-ups and sexy face."
If you're a budding actor, here's a good tip for making "sexy face": pretend like you've been running on a treadmill for an hour. I think those faces look about the same.
Twilight: Breaking Dawn will have that famous wedding everyone has been waiting for, and it had to happen after Edward Cullen proposed to Bella at the end of the third film, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Robert Pattinson says he thinks the film "wouldn’t make any sense" if the wedding didn’t happen.
"I proposed to Bella so many times," Pattinson explained. "You had to get married at some point otherwise it wouldn’t make any sense. It would look like you had some kind of issue."
True. This movie has enough drama with vampires fighting werewolves. We don’t need to add a neurotic bride-to-be to the mix.
“Watching Kristen … she had to take all the nerves, all the heavy lifting in the scene. You suddenly realize that the role of a man, the role of a groom in a wedding, is that of a prop," Pattinson said.
Stewart showed up to the London premiere wearing a stunning, floor-length, black Roberto Cavalli gown paired with black stilettos. But after walking the carpet and talking to fans, the actress ditched her heels for some Nike trainers. Stewart did the same thing at the Los Angeles premiere on Monday night. Who can blame her? Plus, she somehow pulled it off. Now, had she put on a pair of Crocs, it'd be a different story.
Stewart recently admitted she's stolen a few things from the Twilight set to keep as a souvenir.
“I have taken a few things as a keepsake,” admits the actress. “I don’t know if that was okay but no one has said anything. I took the little moon ring I wear in Breaking Dawn as a last little reminder of the role.”
Something tells me she won't be getting fired.
