Kristen Stewart All Smiles At 'On The Road' Premiere in Toronto

She lives!

While Rob Pattinson was looking all sorts of drunk introducing the Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 preview at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, his estranged girlfriend was thousandss of miles away promoting her new film On the Road.

Following through with promises of a re-emergence at the Toronto International Film Festival Kristen Stewart showed up in a done-up look.

The actress wore a red, turquoise, pink and black floral patterned, long sleeve dress and heels to the TIFF red carpet event.

Somehow – despite all the drama that has hovered over her name in headlines lately – she also managed to force a smile on her red-glossed lips.

But, under what is sure to be nerves on her stone-cold expression might have been a glimmer of hope…

Also showing up to the event was a sea of dedicated fans that seemed to have nothing better to do than pursue a mission to support their Twilight goddess.

Twihards held signs like "Talent, Beauty, Strength and Courage -- We stand by Kristen always” and "We are always with you Kristen Stewart” while bellowing anthems of encouragement….

Hollyscoop previously announced the actress’ arrival to the Canadian city. She showed up via airplane on Thursday morning wearing a brown leather jacket and an “IRIE” t-shirt reminiscent of the one Rob had previously been seen sporting.

The latest juicy gossip from the alleged cheating scandal between Kristen and Snow White and the Huntsmen’s Rupert Sanders is a video commentary featured on the DVD. In the recording, the married director reportedly gushes about the actress he was later caught sucking faces with in a July issue of Us Weekly.

"This is the first dialogue I shot with her; I said maybe you do a prayer,” Rupert says in the commentary. “Her accent was flawless; she did such an amazing job on it."

Prior to Kristen’s decision to skip the VMAs, the Twilight couple was on slate to promote Breaking Dawn – Part 2 together at the MTV event.
