The Twilight cheating scandal has come full circle.
Hollyscoop can officially debunk new reports that seem to suggest that Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson will be separated during promotion of the franchise’s final installment, Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
A source close to Ashley Green, who was reportedly scheduled to take Kristen’s place next to Rob on the red carpet, tells Hollyscoop rumors that the co-starring duo would be separated for the film’s promotion are bogus.
“She [Kristen] will be fulfilling all of her obligations and she will NOT be replaced by Ashley Greene in press junkets,” the source said.
In fact – according to the source - the estranged Twilight couple will reunite for the first time in public on the red carpet.
Reports that Kristen and Rob would be separated for the promotion, the source added, are “BS.”
The original story that the couple would be divided for press appearances was reported by UK’s Daily Star Sunday. The outlet quoted a source at the film’s distribution company Summit Entertainment as saying that Kristen was a “wild card” in the cast.
According to the original story, Rob was to travel from junket to junket on a private jet, where Kristen was stuck checking her baggage in first class on a commercial airline.
“Given the relationship problems between Robert and Kristen, it has been decided they should travel separately,” the Daily Star Sunday quoted the source. “While I’m sure the media and maybe even some fans might want to see an emotional outburst, we most definitely do not.”
Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 arrives in theaters on November 16, 2012.
