Actress Kristen Jaymes Stewart was born on April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles, CA to John Stewart and Jules Stewart, who both work in the entertainment business as a script supervisor and stage manager.
At the age of 8, a talent agent first discovered Kristen after watching her perform in her grade school's Christmas play.
After appearing in a few television roles, Kristen landed her first respectable role as Sam Jennings in The Safety of Objects (2001). Her talent was quickly recognized when she starred in the hit drama, Panic Room (2002) as Jodie Foster's daughter. Her portrayal of a walking asthma attack, trapped in a panic room with her mother, led to a nomination for a Young Artist Award.
Following her break-through performance in Panic Room, Kristen was cast in Cold Creek Manor (2003) as the daughter of Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone. Although the film was not well received by critics and bombed at the box office, it did not hinder Kristen's outstanding performance and led to a second nomination for a Young Artist Award. Following multiple movie roles, including a role in the Showtime movie Speak (2004), Kristen landed the role of a teenage singer living in a commune in Sean Penn's critically acclaimed biopic Into the Wild (2007).
Kristen's most recognized, claim to fame role came when she was cast as Bella Swan in the hit movie Twilight (2008), based on Stephanie Meyer's book, opposite Robert Pattinson who plays the lead vampire, Edward Cullen. After the movie premiered, Stewart was awarded the MTV Movie Award for Best Female Performance. Her widely received performance continued in the sequels The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010).
After the success of the Twilight series, Kristen dabbled in Indie films, including Adventureland (2009) with co-star Jesse Eisenberg, and Welcome to the Rileys (2010). Her most challenging role came when she portrayed rocker Joan Jett in Floria Sigismondi's The Runaways (2010) alongside Dakota Fanning.

In July 2012, Kristen (22) admitted she cheated on the love of her life, Robert Pattinson (26) with Rupert Sanders, the 41 year old married director of Snow White and the Huntsman. US Weekly broke the story after revealing photos of the two in a romantic embrace were leaked.
Kristen later stated, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Liberty Ross, Rupert's wife who also starred in the movie, tweeted " Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together," a quote by the famed seductress Marilyn Monroe. She later shut down her Twitter account.
