Kristin Cavallari Confirms She's Joining The Hills

We saw it coming! Last month Hollyscoop reported that Kristen Cavallari was rumored to be joining The Hills to take Lauren Conrad's spot. And now she’s confirmed it!

Kristin will be taking over when the show returns on MTV for season 6, and she’s ready! Kristin tells EW, “It’s a TV show. I’m not going into it like, ‘I’m going to make great friendships with these people.’ It’s work! And drama sells. I think that’s why they’re bringing me in, because I know what works.”

Kristin went on to say how much better of a character she’ll be than Lauren on the show. She says, “I’m a completely different person than Lauren. I have a lot more energy. I’m more outgoing. I’m a little more spontaneous.”

We love the drama already! Kristin always knows how to bring it! And she’s obviously not afraid to admit that The Hills is totally scripted. She even says she’s open to the producers plotting out relationships for her, like one with Justin Bobby! “I’m totally cool with that. Again, it’s a TV show and they need to make it entertaining.”

Looks like Kristin and Audrina aren’t going to be best buds…Are you excited to see Kristin take Lauren’s place?
