Kirsten and her partner Mark Ballas danced the samba last night to Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” and got 24 out of 30 possible points, putting them squarely in the middle of the pack, but evidently it wasn’t enough to save them from being eliminated.
Kristin was genuinely shocked to hear her name. And so was the audience. I mean, how did David Arquette and Chaz Bono survive the elimination and Kristin got booted off? Doesn’t seem fair at all.
The two called off their engagement in July after 10 months together, but a source says that the pair is “working it out.”
Bad news for everyone who was rooting for Kristen and her dance partner Mark Ballas to hook up. What would you rather have? A ballroom dancer or a quarterback? Quarterback. Always the quarterback.
However, Kristin and Mark’s on set chemistry is working, they earned 24 points last night for their sultry samba to “Crazy in Love.”

Nancy danced the quickstep on last night’s episode of DWTS and just as her performance ended she suffered a little wardrobe malfunction. The camera immediately cut away to stock footage of an audience looking stunned, while audio of a hooting-and-hollering audience played.
The usually fierce Nancy, who terrorizes people daily on her HLN show, hung her head in embarrassment and buried her face into her dance partner, Tristan McManus’s shoulder.
Nancy quickly adjusted her dress as Tom Bergeron joked, “On the European version that would be perfectly fine.” Hahaha, ewwww. Later, Grace said she hadn’t noticed anything. So she was hanging her head because she thought her performance was bad, not that she was embarrassed over her wardrobe malfunction.

Pia Toscano and Mark Ballas have split, according to E! News. Toscano was eliminated from American Idol earlier this year, causing the largest public uproar since Sanjaya. Shortly thereafter, Toscano started dating Mark Ballas of Dancing With the Stars. Oh, and also making music and stuff.
Multiple sources confirm to E! that the relationship is over, and Pia's rep's response: "She's hard at work on her new album and can't wait for her fans to hear it. Pia is wrapping up her American Idol tour and her album is expected to be released soon."

Chaz Bono will dance with Lacey Schwimmer. Schwimmer has been paired with Lance Bass and Steve-O in the past.
Soap star and Iraqi war veteran J.R. Martinez got lucky. He's been paired with Karina Smirnoff. We're sure Smirnoff will enjoy dancing with Martinez, but he wasn't her first choice. Smirnoff told Hollyscoop who her dream partner is:

A friend of the couple says he was controlling and jealous and made things difficult in their relationship, “Jay Cutler was beyond controlling and didn’t really like Kristin to go out,” the friend says, “When she did go out, he called all the time and demanded to know exactly where she was going and who she was with.”
Ugggghh Cutler, like, can’t a girl go to the club with her socialite friends without getting the third degree?!
One of the things Kristin’s looking forward to? Putting together a registry. And as for a reality show about her and fiancé Jay Cutler, you can forget about it. Cavallari says it will “never happen”.

Jay proposed to the former Laguna Beach star while on vacation in Mexico. How romantic!
A source close to the couple confirms to People that Cutler proposed over the weekend during their getaway in Cabo San Lucas. They started dating last Fall.
"He surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to marry him," the source says.
So who is Jay Cutler? He's a quarterback for the Chicago Bears and used to play at Vanderbilt University. He began his professional football career with the Denver Broncos, who selected him as the 11th overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft. After just three seasons with the Broncos, he was traded to the Bears in 2009.
He's good friends with Chicago native Bill Rancic. Giuliana Rancic actually introduced him to Kristin.
