“I’ve been obsessed with sloths for as long as I can remember,” Kristen once said. “They must be my spirit animal or something.”
Well, I dunno about spirit animal, because those things are pretty damn lifeless, but yeah, in case you haven’t heard, sloths are adorable. I mean, a lot of animals are adorable, but sloths are really cool because they're too slow to run away when you want to cuddle them. Unfortunately, there aren't many wild sloths in the greater Los Angeles area...

Cutie Kristen is Shape magazine's September cover girl and after seeing her in a hot pink bikini, we know why!
In the magazine Kristen talks about how she stays active, cheating on her diet and reaping what she sows. Here are some highlights from the article:
On how she stays active:
“My friends and I are all into staying in shape through outdoor activities. We play Ultimate Frisbee, hike the trails around Los Angeles, go rock climbing in Malibu, explore underwater caves in Palos Verdes. We’re gluttons for excitement, and it keeps us fit!”
On cheating on her diet every so often:
“I’ve learned I don’t really feel well after I eat it but I also know that devouring a whole cheesecake with my girlfriends can feel incredible! I’m always going to be the kind of person who treats myself.” (K-Bell has been a vegetarian for 19 years.)
On reaping what she sows:
“Now that I have all this fresh mint growing in my garden, I make mint lemonade slushies. I start by squeezing fresh lemon juice into a blender, then add chopped mint, a little agave nectar to neutralize the sour, and a lot of ice. Delicious, healthy, and refreshing!”

Shepard proposed over the holidays and obviously she accepted!
The proposal was kept hush-hush until Bell decided to debut her engagement ring at the 2010 Grammys where she was presenting the award for Best Country Album with Josh Duhamel, her When in Rome costar.
Bell and Shepard first stepped out publicly in January 2008.

A spokesman for Universal Pictures confirmed the poster had been changed to simplify it for the UK and international market outside America. The statement said they had aimed “to simplify the poster to actors who are most recognizable in international markets.”
The studio apologized for causing offense and has promised to use the original poster for promotional use in other countries. Vivienne Pattison, director of Mediawatch-UK, said: “I think this was an ill-conceived move. We celebrate diversity in Britain and we could have coped with seeing the same poster used in America.”

Kristen also has a new movie she’s working on with Christina Aguilera called Burlesque, which has her working overtime on her cardio game. Speaking about the role at the Guess and Vanity Fair T-Shirt Launch Event to Benefit Invisible Children she told Hollyscoop, "I've started dance rehearsals and my neck is sore and my inner thighs are so sore.”
But it seems Kristen was a born performer, telling us she used to do little performances of her own back in the day. “I still love singing to Disney songs,” she said, “I use to record myself singing when I was 10 because I figured someone had to see this...but hopefully they're stashed away at my house and I don’t think my mom would sell me out.”
We asked if Kristen would ever want to do Broadway like so many fellow actors have been doing lately. She said, “I used to live in New York City and I did a few shows before. I would love the opportunity to do it again.”
We’d love to hear her sing!

She tells the New York Daily News, "I've pitched (show creator) Josh Schwartz a couple of times for me to be on camera as a waitress or something but he wasn't buying it. But hopefully he'll change his mind in the future!"
Bell had to beg to be the narrator of the show as well, so she's been campaigning with the bosses for a while. With that much dedication, she deserves a cameo on the hit show.
Maybe she can play Chucks new love interest and make Blair jealous? Just a thought.

At the Miss Sixty show during Fashion Week, Kristen said, "I'm about to guest star on Rob Thomas' new show, called Party Down. It's on Starz...a lot of old Veronica Mars people are on it and some really cool comedians like Adam Scott."
The network confirmed the news, saying, "Kristen Bell will be appearing in our new original comedy series, Party Down, premiering on Friday, March 20."
We hadn’t heard much about this new show, so we’ll give you guys the scoop! It’s about an LA-based catering team made up of aspiring actors waiting for their big break. Each episode features the team working on a different event, and delves into their personal lives. Sounds pretty funny! We never get to see the stories of people who haven’t yet made it in the industry!
So tune in to see Kristen on March 20th on Starz!

The campaign is called the "Gap Vote For_______" which lets people fill in the blank with what their main reason is for voting. Kristen wants to keep animal rights in mind.
