Where’s the Men in Black mind eraser when you need it?
Kirstie defends her Look Who’s Talking costar and fellow Scientology elbow-rubber during an interview with Barbara Walters on “20/20.”
"I know John with all my heart and soul; he's not gay," she says, adding that the reason she knows this is because he was the “greatest love of my life.”
The reason people jumped to the gay conclusion is because the actor, she says, was so uninteresting that people had nothing better to talk about.
“I think in some weird way, in Hollywood, if someone gets big enough and famous enough, and they're not out doing drugs and they're not womanizing, what do you say about them?" she adds.
Because if you don’t like taking a lot of drugs or beating women, the only logical explanation is that you prefer sex with unwilling male masseurs.
And, if that isn’t enough to convince you, Kirtsie keeps coming with the zingers, revealing that she had some hard core feelings for the Grease actor while she was still married to Parker Stevenson pre-1997.
“It took everything I had inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John and be with John for the rest of my life,” she says. “I feel like when you marry someone, you're supposed to work hard at it and you're supposed to make it work."
Despite Kirstie’s defense there’s at least three and possibly up to five John Doe’s that would argue the opposite.
As we previously reported, Travolta has been caught up in a good deal of controversy when a series of accusers came out, claiming that the actor had sexually assaulted them in private settings.
Kirstie Alley’s “20/20” interview airs Sunday at 10 p.m. on ABC.
