It wasn’t red paint, but PETA is still happy.
The People for Ethical Treatment for Animals has offered to pay the legal fees of the mystery women who poured flour on Kim Kardashian last week. This comes amid news that Kim may have changed her mind about pressing charges against the woman.
PETA denies being involved in the red carpet attack but has long criticized Kardashian’s decision to wear fur. A spokesperson told Celebuzz:
"We don't believe Kim would be so shortsighted as to go after this woman, but if she does, we'll definitely look at how to maximize exposure to the cruel fur industry, and that could mean
defending the activist if she wishes."
I mean, even if you don’t give a sh-t about animals, is wearing fur really worth all this grief?
Those fur vests she loves don’t even look that great. They look like a bear ate a Kardashian.
The spokesperson added: "PETA is not speculating about who floured Kim and unfortunately we can't say who sent us the video. How much better it would be if she decided to evolve and enhance her image by donating her vulgar furs and exotic-animal skins to the homeless?”
Kim kept reminding us that she wanted to “laugh off” the attack, but then later changed her mind (after much speculation that it was a PR stunt), saying the flour bomber shouldn’t be able to “get away” with the attack.
"I am just going to think about it, because I don't want someone to think they can really get away with that," Kim said. "So we are going to handle that."
