PETA: We Didn't Flour-Bomb Kim Kardashian, But We're Happy

Kim Kardashian has been the target of various animal rights groups over her decision to wear fur. So last night, when a woman flour-bombed the reality star and reportedly yelled, "Fur Hag!" it seemed PETA-like.

But PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, told TMZ: "It was not [us]. We were given the video by an anti-fur activist on the scene."

But according to TMZ, PETA is "VERY SUPPORTIVE of the attacker."

A rep for the organization did say:

"PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not."

PETA has a huge amount of celebrity supporters, including Alec Baldwin, Kristen Wiig, Natalie Portman, Cindy Crawford and rapper Common.

Eva Mendes voiced her support of PETA, saying:

“I’m eternally grateful to PETA for creating awareness in my life of animal rights…you must question where everything comes from – whether it’s food or a very cool bag. I just hope more designers become fur free.”

Earlier this month, Kim donned a fur vest at Paris Fashion Week. She paired the vest with beige suede pants and pearl-encrusted shoes, designed by Kanye West for Giuseppe Zanotti, that went for a whopping $6,000.

"J'adore my shoes tonight!" Kim wrote on Instagram, along with a picture of the extravagant footwear.
