Oi vey, these Hollywood socialite-types (Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan) think they have something in common with Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, and Elizabeth Taylor.
Paris Hilton has been vacationing in St. Tropez, because her regular life is such hard work, and tweeted out a photo of herself wearing a very early-2000’s inspired outfit and then captioned it “Channeling Brigitte Bardot St Tropez Style.”
Sure, Brigitte Bardot liked vacationing in Saint Tropez, but my only response to this photo of Paris-as-Brigitte is NO.
Apparently dumb great minds think alike, because on the other side of the world Kim Kardashian was doing a photo shoot inspired by old-Hollywood glamour and tweeted this:

Kim’s photoshoot involved curling her hair up in a faux bob a ‘la Liz Taylor/Sophia Loren and wearing a silver curvy dress.
Not to be outdone, last week Lindsay Lohan was praised by the director of her new film “The Canyons” who wrote, “Lindsay Lohan is a huge fan of Hollywood glamour and performances from the Golden Era. Working with her every day on varied scenes I've been making a mental checklist of classic movie performances she's touched upon. There's has been a lot of Ann Margaret, some Gena Rowlands and Faye Dunaway and of course some bits of Liz Taylor and Monroe as well as a little Rita Hayworth.”
So it’s official, if you achieve a certain level of fame, you can compare yourself to anyone you want.
I cannot wait until Miley Cyrus tweets out photos of herself with captions that read “the reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe.”
