After all the rumors surrounding the Kim K and Kris Humphries union, saying their marriage was fake and it was only “for TV” I have no idea what to believe anymore, but let’s believe this is true, and it very might well be because it involves lots of money, and that’s something the Kardashians are good at.
After Kris was “blindsided” by his divorce from wife of 72 days Kim Kardashian, he now is planning to sue her for $10 million. At first I was like, can you sue someone for leading you on? I mean, that’s what Kim did…if Kris was so blindsided about the whole thing, as he claims, then Kim was professionally leading him on. But alas, that’s not why he’s suing.
Kris claims that he had a larger role on the series Kourtney & Kim Take New York than he thought and therefore wants to be compensated accordingly, but mostly, he thinks, in light of the divorce, that he will be portrayed horribly in the series.
“Kris has a legal team investigating his options,” says an insider to Life and Style magazine, “He’s claiming his role on Kourtney & Kim Take New York is bigger than he was told, and that’s why he wants more money. But Kris is also suing because he’s really worried about how badly he’s going to be portrayed on the series.”
Sure, they are going to emphasize the breakdown of a 2 month marriage, but really Kris is concerned with a scene where he explosively bullies Kim’s best friend Jonathan Cheban and Kris interrogates the guy with homophobic comments.
“Midway through the season, Kris starts bullying Kim’s best friend, Jonathan Cheban, about his sexuality,” shares Kim’s friend “Jonathan isn’t gay, but Kris accuses him of being gay and criticizes him for it in a really homophobic way. Jonathan is really upset.”
Kris is afraid of how he will be portrayed in the scene because I’m sure Kris is very aware of what the E! network can do to a career.
“Kris used the word ‘gay’ as an insult, to try and hurt Jonathan,” says an E! insider, “He’s the lowest of the low bullying someone like this.”
Kris can’t stop the footage from airing, but he can try to squeeze some dollars out of his ex-wife. Besides, what’s a 6’9” guy with a bad attitude gonna do while the NBA is still on lock-out? Sue people, that’s what.
Kris has retained lawyer Lee Hutton III, who is a sports and entertainment lawyer based out of Minneapolis. Kris insists that most of his appearances on the upcoming season of Kourtney & Kim is scripted and that he’s not homophobic. His dad comes to his defense, “Little did Kris know that he was being set up,” says his father William, “Kris got used – 100 percent used.”
