I'm pretty sure he's the last one to figure it out.
Kim Kardashian filed for divorce on October 31, and Kris Humphries has responded by seeking to annul the marriage on the grounds of fraud. This means there are now legal documents that show that anything that happens on The Kardashians is fictional.
Humphries submitted his paperwork to the Superior Court, checking the boxes marked, "nullity of voidable marriage" and "fraud." He listed the separation date as October 31.
A source tells TMZ that Humphries feels he was "Just slotted in the plot line of Kim Kardashian's latest headline and newest business venture".
Gotta take one for the brand, Humphries. The source says that Kris believes Kim never wanted to marry him but needed a high profile groom on a major NBA team. But that doesn’t make any sense because he plays for the New Jersey Nets. Hey oh!
On Kim's side of things, a different source claims that the only reason Kris would check that box is that the other boxes didn’t make any sense.
"The reason Kris is alleging 'fraud' is because the other options were ridiculous," the source tells Us Weekly. Here are the options for annulment: impotency, incest, bigamy, unsound mind, force or fraud.
The whole 'fraud' thing is ridiculous. If the marriage was a sham, he was in on it," continues the insider. "Did he not see the cameras or get a cut of whatever money was made? The marriage was real. It was just a terrible and unhappy one."
So I guess he's just filing an annulment for the hell of it.
A friend of Kris insists he believed the marriage to be serious, cameras or not. "He would have never flown in his childhood pastor to marry them and involve his church."
Which makes sense. Whoever that poor old man is, he will forever be known in his Minnesota church as "the dude who was on that Kardashian show."
An insider says that "Once they were finished taping, [Kim] just didn't need a groom anymore."
But a friend of Kim insists she was committed to the marriage, saying that she loved Kris. According to TMZ, Kim also originally wanted an annulment and filed for divorce only because she was told it was her only legal option.
