Kim Kardashian's Divorce: What Celebs Are Saying

It was only a few weeks ago that the world watched Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event on E!. Well, apparently “A Kardashian Event” means getting hitched, getting sick of each other after 72 days, and then deciding to call it quits.

After just two months as a married couple, Kim Kardashian announced her decision to end her marriage to Kris Humphries. On Monday, October 31, Kim announced: “I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."

And by “forever” she meant until the series finale of Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

We all took to Twitter to talk about it, including Ryan Seacrest, who confirmed the news, writing:

“Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her.”

And he wasn’t the only one. Plenty of other celebs Tweeted their feelings about the divorce, and we rounded up our very favorite ones:

Samantha Ronson: “Wait, so it was actually a real wedding?”

Danny Zuker, Writer for Modern Family: “Best Halloween costume ever! Woman in line at Starbucks apparently dressed as person who's shocked Kim Kardashian is getting divorced.”

Kelly Osbourne: @KimKardashian thinking of you stay strong don’t listen to the haters listen to your heart! xoxo.”

Lisa Rinna: “Well I think a big lesson is being learned by all. Keep your family lives private your wedding should never be on tv. Sad for them. And yes I did a reality show and I’ll say again-Keep your family life Private! Its Sacred!”

Spencer Pratt: “Will @KimKardashian make more money from the wedding storyline or the divorce? #hustler”

Brandi Glanville: ”I’m sorry but I’m so Happy KimK is dropping that tool! She can do waaaaaay better!”

Josh Malina, The West Wing: “You need to gut through that whole 72-day itch thing. ...until anything do us part." #KardashianVows”

Trevor Donovan, 90210: “I almost won the pool...I said 90 days. Break out the video camera Mr. Humphries ...what was good for the goose, can be good for the gander”

Julie Klausner, Comedian: “Even if Keeping Up with The Kardashians were a real scripted sitcom, the showrunner would've been like, ‘We can't break them up YET.’”

Jon Friedman, Writer for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon: “I think I'll be Kris Humphries for Halloween and just go back home.”

Anthony Jeselnik, Comedian: “If Kim Kardashian can't find happiness, then maybe there is hope for the rest of us.”

Khloe Kardashian: "Reading some these comments are so hurtful. I'm grateful for our fans who understand and are being respectful. Hate is disgusting. Love is everything."
