On account of not just owning everything, but also having refined taste, Kanye West isn’t the easiest guy to buy gifts for. His baby mama Kim Kardashian, however, knows exactly what’ll make him not fake a smile on a holiday.
For his very first Father’s Day, Kanye revealed just one of the gifts she gave him to celebrate the birth of their daughter North West—two computer mice, each signed by Apple founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
“one of the other gifts my girl gave me for fathers day,” Kanye wrote today, uploading an image of the autographed items.
Kim also invited Wozniak to meet Kanye as a 36th birthday present.
“I’ve seen a lot of babies,” Wozniak told Piers Morgan. “And a baby represents the love between the people, and that meant more to me and the love that Kim was showing to Kanye, just because he was interested in technology and companies, she—as a birthday present—she had me up there to meet him.”
Steve Jobs’ career is something of an aspiration benchmark for Kanye. He famously told the New York Times last month, in the third person no less, “I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means. I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of Internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period.”
