It’s official—Kim Kardashian is a married woman. Kim married her b-ball fiancé Kris Humphries in a ceremony in Montecito, California on Saturday evening. 440 guests showed up to see the love birds tie the knot.
Kim wore an ivory custom made Vera Wang wedding gown while carrying a bouquet made entirely of white roses. She wore her hair up under a veil and of course had her regular makeup artist Mario do her up for her big day. Vera Wang is a good friend of the Kardashian family so she made Kim not one, but two custom made dresses for her big day.
Kris Humphries, Kim’s brother Robert Kardashian, Bruce and Kris’ dad all wore Ermenegildo Zegna tuxedos with a white jacket and tie. Apparently color was prohibited from the wedding.
The actual ceremony lasted about half an hour and was performed by pastor Joel Johnson. Kim told the crowd: "I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle. But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad.” Poor Bruce never gets any love for being a fill in dad.
Both Khloe and Kourtney were maids of honor—and of course they were also wearing white. Did I mention color was prohibited? Adorable little Mason served as a ring bearer while Kim’s mother Kris Jenner also wore a white Vera Wang dress. Again with the white.
Kris posted a tribute to her daughter on her website, which said: “Kimberly, I still remember you as a little girl playing dress up in my closet like it was yesterday! I can’t believe the time has flown
by so fast.
“You will always be my little princess angel, and you are going to make the most amazing wife. You are truly blessed. I love you with all my heart, Mommy xo (sic).”
So who attended the extravagant bash? Avril Lavigne, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Ryan Seacrest and Mel B were among some of the guests. Robin Thicke introduced the couple as Mr. and Mrs.
Kim Kardashian Humphries.
As for the first dance, Robin Thick sang Al Green’s classic “Let’s Stay Together”.
Kim and Kris got engaged just six months after dating and got married within 90 days of getting engaged. The entire wedding was captured by reality show cameras and will air during the Kardashian Wedding special on E! on October 9th and 10th. Congrats to the happy couple!
