While she was promoting her fragrance at The London West Hollywood last night, Kim Kardashin was covered in white powder by a woman in the hotel lobby. And no, it wasn't Sacha Baron Cohen in costume.
The woman flour-bombed Kim and tried to run away but was held but her press officer. According to the Washington Post, the woman yelled what sounded like "lousy fur hag." Kim has been criticized by various animal rights groups because of her fur-wearing habit. She is not pressing charges, but a non-criminal battery reported was still filed. The woman was later released.
"That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me," Kim told E! Online. "Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there."
Paramedics were called to the hotel, but Kim said she didn’t need medical treatment. She went upstairs, changed into an extra outfit she conveniently had on hand, and then returned to the carpet.
Kris Jenner said at the time, "If anybody comes at me with something, call security."
Khloe Kardashian Odom Tweeted: "I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn’t have dared tried a thing."
Kourtney wrote: " I wonder if they would have dared thrown the flour at my hormonal and pregnant self!"
Last December, Kim's bestie, Jonathan Cheban, was also flour-bombed. "This is for Kris Humphries," a man yelled before throwing flour in Cheban's face. He was exiting his jewelry launch at the Kardashian's New York Dash store.
