Kardashians Seal New 3-Year Reality Deal for Reported $40 Million

Expect to be “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” on E! through 2015. The Kardashian family just made one for the record books by signing on for 3 more seasons with the network for a jaw dropping $40 million, according to TMZ.

The deal will be the richest contract ever paid for a reality TV series.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” premiered on E! in 2007 and is currently in its 6th season. Averaging just over 3 million viewers on Sunday nights, making it the network’s top series, it follows the personal and professional lives of the Kardashians.

Sources told TMZ that Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kris and Bruce would get equal shares of higher pay than Kendall, Kylie and Rob, who would be paid equal but lower shares of the $40 million pie.

Though the deal is said to include other reality programming, it omits their various lucrative product endorsements or Lamar, who will likely sign his own separate deal.

E! created several spinoff series featuring family members, including “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” and “Khloe and Lamar.” What other spinoffs may be created with this new deal has yet to be released, but the options seem endless.

The 18 episode 7th season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” premieres May 20.
