Re Owen Wilson - The questions asked on the late-night shows can be TIGHTLY controlled by the star's publicist. Everyone would treat him with kid-gloves anyway, even without being told. Really, do you think ANY of those hosts would pass up an opportunity to have Owen on EVEN if they were told - absolutely no suicide questions, no Kate questions? Of course not - the problem isn't the type of questions, or his filming schedule (please - like they couldn't get him from Miami to NYC?). The real problem is Owen himself. Reports from the "Marley & Me" set are that he is STILL immersed in melancholy and it's easier (for now) just to hide him. All his previous promotional appearances were most likely done under the influence of drugs. No more drugs - no more "happy-go-lucky" Owen. Really sad ... He should just cut his losses, quit film acting and go back to writing.
