There were a couple of prerequisites for nabbing an invite to Kim Kardashian’s wedding. Basically, you either have to be a family member or have an E! True Hollywood story made about you.
But some celebs aren’t taking advantage of the coveted invitation. Donald Trump has turned down his invite to the wedding, and what’s his excuse? Golf. Yes, Trump will be hosting a tournament at his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., which falls on the same day.
I mean, it’s not surprising. Is Donald Trump gonna go to an event with his name on it or without his name on it? Come on.
And he’s not the only one who declined Kardashian’s invite. Kelly Ripa will also be a no-show. The talk show host will be out of town on Saturday, and she sent her regrets. Likely story, Ripa.
American Idol star Pia Toscano also turned down the epic invite. Apparently, Kardashian wanted Toscano to perform at her wedding, but Pia is currently on the summer tour. A couple of months ago, Toscano and her rumored boyfriend, Mark Ballas, were spotted having dinner with Kardashian. Pia Tweeted:
“My two favorite Kim’s surprised me tonight :) Thank you Kim Kardashian and My sis Kim Toscano!!!”
Selena Gomez was also allegedly invited, but because of a performance in New Jersey that day, she won’t be able to make it. Boyfriend Justin Bieber will be attending, however.
And while Kim has seemed abnormally calm about the whole thing, the pre-wedding xanax might be wearing off. Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest:
“[I freaked out about] everything and anything. From Kris' dogs in my space to his shirts on the floor to going over budget to everything you could possibly think of. I mean it's ridiculous issues that I guess everyone goes through, but you just have a freak out moment where you go crazy over every last thing from seating to hotels. Planning a wedding is so much work. I had no idea."
She might be down a few celebs, but Kim’s got hundreds of more in attendance. We’ll be able to see who shows up during Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, which will air on October 9th and 10th. On E!, of course.
