Two days after
Kiefer Sutherland head butted fashion designer
Jack McCollough in New York City, he turned himself in to authorities for questioning.
"Kiefer is here, he walked in a few minutes ago," an officer told Us Weekly. Kiefer, who showed up to the police station with his lawyer, is expected to be charged with misdemeanor assault.
The head-butting
incident happened during an after party for the Met Costume Institute Gala in New York City late Monday night.
Kiefer was reportedly intoxicated at the party and the argument involved
Brooke Shields. Since Brooke was named in the incident, she may be called as a witness in the investigation.
Maybe Kiefer should consider laying off the booze for a while. He already has two DUI's under his belt, and now a possible assault charge?!
UPDATED:
Kiefer Sutherland was arrested by New York police on Thursday and charged with assault for headbutting another man. Considering the fact that he's still on probation for five years from his last arrest (DUI arrest in 2007), he may face harsh consequences. The Manhattan District Attorney's office had no comment.
