Kiefer Sutherland Pleads No Contest

Another day, another DUI case. Kiefer Sutherland entered a no contest plea to one count of DUI. Sutherland did not appear in court himself, but his lawyer Blair Berk showed up in downtown LA for the hearing.

Here are some fun facts about our homeboy Kiefer and his DUI issues...

•Kiefer will do 48 days in custody.

•Kiefer will do 18 days for the probation violation.

•He must surrender by December 21, 2007.

•He will serve an addition 30 days for the current DUI and must complete that sentence by July 1st.

•Back in 2004, he pled no contest to driving with a .22 blood alcohol level and was sentenced to five years probation.

If it had been anyone else that wasn't famous they would be looking at a year if not more. 4 DUI's in 5 years is totally unacceptable. The judges make a mockery of the system.
