Khloe Kardashian to Start Fertility Treatments

I guess it’s a slow Kardashian news day, because here’s a story about Khloe Kardashian reportedly taking pre-natal vitamins. Ohhh ahhh.

Poor Khloe has been trying to get pregnant, for years actually, (I watch A LOT of last seasons “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” so I know…) and has begun preparing for in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

Khloe has been married to basketball player Lamar Odom for two years, and after her trials and difficulties getting pregnant have been documented on their reality series, in September Khloe began her IVF consultations. However, the couple has not begun the IVF treatment, they just started some consultations and the vitamins. Like I said, slow news day for the Kardashians; I guess Kris Humphries doesn’t have anything scathing to say about Kim today.

A source told US magazine about Khloe’s pregnancy woes, “They have been trying everything to get pregnant but nothing works.”

“She is desperate for a baby with Lamar and will do whatever it takes. They have faith the IVF will work,” adds the source.

After Kourtney announced she was pregnant again with her boyfriend Scott Disick, that really affected Khloe, who has been unsuccessfully trying to get pregnant for some time now. While Khloe is only 27 and has plenty of time to have babies, Kourtney’s pregnancy really kicked her need to have children into high gear.

“She's thrilled for Kourtney, but she’s really sensitive. And it’s hard to see your sister get something you want so badly.”

Lamar already has two kids from a previous relationship, 13 year-old Destiny and 10-year-old Lamar Jr.

Khloe has also recently admitted that she feels pressure to have a baby.

“People keep saying, ‘Why aren’t you pregnant yet?’ That’s what scares me, when people are like, ‘Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything’s working?’ It’s nerve-racking. Sometimes I feel like I’m letting everyone down.”

Back in September, A source told US Weekly that when Kim Kardashian was happily married (lol, remember that? Me neither) she was announcing that she’d love to have children soon, and of course this really hurt Khloe.

“If Kim were to get pregnant first, that would cause tension, because it would highlight Khloe’s struggle,” says the source.

Also, for anyone who though that Khloe's fertility issues were created to give fake drama for their reality series, that’s not true.

“Khloe is having major problems getting pregnant,” a source told Us Weekly, “it’s not contrived for their reality show.”
