The current season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” was beginning to feel like an ancient relic.
Nowhere was it mentioning all the drama revolving around Khloe Kardashian and her marriage to Lamar Odom, but after last night’s episode, it appears to be catching up with the recent scandal.
In it, Khloe receives a phone call from her husband who’s in a heightened state of panic while away at training camp, which invites Khloe to sound off honestly about, not everything, but something that’s brewing between them.
“There is a lot of emotional issues I think that Lamar has,” Khloe says in her confessional—an allusion to what we understand now to be his rampant drug abuse.
“I do want to help or cater to Lamar, but also there is only so much anyone can take,” she continued in the indirect heart-to-heart she had with the camera. “Lamar is a very depressed person, which is sad, but understandable with everything that he has been through in his life.”
This marks the first time Khloe has referenced her shaky marriage and we’re sure it won’t be the last. We know this is only the tip of the iceberg.
“I do love Lamar with every ounce of who I am but it is really scary when someone is in such a deep low and you know they are relying on you to get them out,” she said. “You are trying and trying and trying and nothing is really working.”
