The Jonas Brothers are jumping on the reality television bandwagon. Well, one of them, anyway…
“Married To Jonas” will follow the newly married Kevin and Danielle Jonas as they face the struggles of everyday life and staged television scenarios together. Ryan Seacrest Productions has undertaken the project and will produce a 10-episode, half-hour series for E!.
“When we learned that Dani married Kevin, our production team became curious about what life would be like for a young bride entering the excitement, and sometimes chaos, of a pop star's life," said Seacrest.
What exactly are Kevin and Dani up to, you ask?
The couple is reportedly settling down in a quiet suburban home in New Jersey. Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers are heading back to the studio to record some new material. Together, Kevin and Dani will juggle the roles as nesting newlyweds and international pop culture phenomenons.
Kevin met New Jersey native Dani during a Jonas family vacation in the Bahamas. They married in December 19, 2009 at Oheka Castle on New York's Long Island.
Producers are excited to showcase the couple’s story, describing Dani’s life as the “true Cinderella story” since marrying the mega-hit, Kevin.
"The series presents a unique look at a young couple and their families from two entirely different worlds,” said Lisa Berger, President, Entertainment Programming for E!, “one small town and one dealing with international fame, coming together as one and starting a whole new life together."
But do they have enough drama to be the next Kardashians? Maybe that’s where some good ‘ol “TV magic” comes into play.
You can catch up with the couple on and off the stage in the premiere of "Married to Jonas" on E! August 19th at 10pm ET/PT.
