The day an artist needs to give away gifts to sell albums is when they are not real "artist" in my eyes. K-Fed may be a little desperate to sell some records and has opted to giving his fans the boot, well not really. In an effort to sell albums for his upcoming album,Playing with Fire, K-Fed will give away prizes to his fans.
One of the prizes is the sneakers he wore during his critically panned debut performance at last month's Teen Choice Awards to a fan who pre-orders the disc off Federline's official Website.
The slightly used kicks will be given away to one lucky buyer of the disc, due out Oct. 31 on Federation Records. The "lucky" winner will also get the shoes autographed by the 'star'. It gets worse, the grand prize for anyone to buy a K-Fed cd is a trip for two to Los Angeles for two nights and three days, during which time the winner would attend Federline's Halloween album release party. As no Federline promotional gig is complete without a Britney tie-in, his website assures credit card holders that his better half will be hosting the soiree.
Ten runners-up, all of whom will be chosen at random, will receive a replica of the Federation medallion that his site claims he wears "almost every day." The first 500 orders will also receive an autographed headshot of the rapper. Sounds like a bargain to me, what about you? Hey desperate times call for desperate measures
